The study's objective was to elaborate and apply the Individualized Educational Plan (PEI) in Physical Education classes in a special education school, as a strategy of inclusion and learning. The research started with the following problem: How can PEI contribute to learning in Physical Education classes? Thus, the PEI was elaborated in a collaborative way, according to the presuppositions of collaborative action research. The interventions occurred in the field of the internship, in a special education school with a student with physical and intellectual disability. It focused on the oratory and movements of the upper limbs. The PEI's organization was supported for Dance. Significant improvements in student development were noted during the intervention period, especially in the most uninhibited speech, locomotion and coordination movements. It is considered that PEI has been shown to be a positive tool for the teaching of Physical Education in the context of special education.
