The purpose of this research will be to analyze how art can be used as a powerful tool in order to contribute to the visibility, empowerment and confrontation trying to create personal narratives within the artistic field as a form of resistance from the work of Brazilian trans artist Lyz Parayzo inserted in the context of the city of São Paulo, which stands out as one of the most important of the art circuit in Brazil but, at the same time, is one of the most violent ones regarding the LGBTQIA+ population.
