This paper analyzes the migratory trajectories of domestic workers from the north of Minas Gerais, considering the focus on social networks and living spaces. Anchored in conducting semi-structured interviews with six migrant women, interpolated with secondary data from the IBGE 2010 Census. It focuses on the causes that cause migration and how social networks contribute to gender relations in migrations. It is concluded that the networks promote the insertion in the labor market, the adaptation in society and the maintenance of family and cultural ties with the destination region, and a ghettoization of female jobs.
