No século XXI tem ocorrido uma sucessão de crises do capitalismo global tendo por base uma multidimensionalidade de fatores. Este artigo visa fazer uma retrospetiva dessas crises identificando os tópicos associados aos fatores que estiveram na sua origem. O desenvolvimento do texto aborda uma série de assuntos-chave como a mundialização da economia neoliberal, a economia da zona euro, os conflitos geopolíticos e a crise ecológica como elementos determinantes nesta discussão. A partir daqui poderemos retirar contributos importantes para a estruturação do estudo da evolução do capitalismo global neste século segundo uma abordagem holística.

In the 21st century, there has been a succession of crises of global capitalism based on a multidimensionality of factors. This article aims to make a retrospective of these crises, identifying the topics associated with the factors that were in their origin. The development of the text addresses a series of key issues such as the globalization of the neoliberal economy, the eurozone economy, geopolitical conflicts and the ecological crisis as determining elements in this discussion. From here we can draw important contributions to the structuring of the study of the evolution of global capitalism in this century according to a holistic approach.
