^lpt^aA transição para uma sociedade hipocarbónica prescrita pelo Acordo de Paris obriga a alterações profundas no domínio dos combustíveis para o sector dos transportes (responsável por cerca de 40% das emissões de gases com efeito de estufa). Após a análise dos prós e contras dos biocombustíveis alimentícios, passa-se em revista o quadro eurocomunitário sobre a matéria, para então se abordar o enquadramento da produção de biocombustíveis em Portugal. After presenting the pros and cons of biofuels made from feedstocks, we will go through the European framework on the subject, and from then on we proceed to the analysis of biofuel production in Portugal.
