A pesquisa centrou-se no conceito de justiça para Aristóteles, tendo por objetivo perquirir as bases históricas e filosóficas desse pensamento e contextualização com instituições existentes em Atenas e na Grécia na sua época, bem como o arcabouço político que permitiu o surgimento de suas teorias. Além disso, partindo da justiça como algo antropológico e não mais vinculado à religião, teve como intenção investigar as diversas noções de justiça para o filósofo, como justiça política, qual seja, aquela derivada da relação entre homens, estabelecida pelas leis. Ademais, centra-se na justiça distributiva, teleológica e justiça corretiva. Os resultados encontrados, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, de enquadramento histórico-contextual e de análise semântico-conceitual de textos filosóficos, demonstram que a evolução da noção aristotélica de justiça forjou tanto uma fundamentação revolucionária para a época em questão quanto uma tradição clássica de pensamento que esclarece as vinculações contemporâneas entre o Direito e a Ética.

The research focused on the concept of justice for Aristotle, to investigate the historical and philosophical bases of this thought and contextualization with institutions existing in Athens and Greece at his time, as well as the political framework that allowed the emergence of his theories. Furthermore, starting from justice as something anthropological and no longer linked to religion, it was intended to investigate the various notions of justice for the philosopher, as political justice, that derived from the relationship between men, established by the laws. In addition, it focuses on distributive, teleological and corrective justice. The results found, obtained through bibliographic research, historical-contextual framing and semantic-conceptual analysis of philosophical texts, demonstrate that the evolution of the Aristotelian notion of justice forged both a revolutionary foundation for the time in question and a classical tradition of thought which clarifies the contemporary links between Law and Ethics.
