Psicologia pediátrica: História, actualidade e formação

RESUMO
O autor começa por justificar a necessidade dos psicólogos nas unidades de saúde. Depois resume a história da psicologia pediátrica nos Estados Unidos, para de seguida definir a Psicologia Pediátrica actual, o seu campo de actuação e formas de intervenção, incluindo algumas considerações sobre a formação.

Pediatric psychology is defined including areas of application, forms of intervention and training of pediatric psychologists.
