Gestão do conhecimento e competitividade organizacional: Um modelo estrutural

Abstract. Most authors who focus on the study of knowledge management claim the existence of a relationship between this and organizational performance, from a perspective of creating and maintaining sustainable competitive advantages. In this article we present a structural equation modelling, through which we aim to test, generally and for the sample under study (50 industrial organizations in the District of Viseu), the validity of the theoretical assumption mentioned, assessing relationships of simultaneous dependence or interdependence between a set of variables that showed relationships of greater magnitude in previous studies and to do so we used multiple regression analyses. The results obtained suggest the existence of a positive impact of knowledge management on organizational competitiveness, reinforcing the conclusions drawn from multiple regression analyses previously carried out, and holding up empirically the theoretical model we set out from.
Key words: Knowledge management, organizational competitiveness, a structural equation modelling, knowledge management questionary, organizational performance indicators.
