This essay puts together some questions regarding the relationship between art and politics, unfolded by a rereading of Fernando Gil’s essay. The aim is thus to evoke a comment on the statute of the image and its mediatisation, through which some clues hare hinted at in order to understand the ethical difference between artistic comsumerism and the individual and collective internalisation of the aesthetic message.
