This study aims to reinforce our knowledge about the usefulness of errors in the teaching of a second language. In order to programme the individual curricular adaptations of immigrant pupils in the subject of Spanish Language, it is necessary to analyse the mistakes these pupils make, the frequency of each type of mistake, and to consider, as far as possible, the interferences of the mother tongue and the characteristics of the interlanguage of each pupil.
