GOMES, J. M.; MARQUES, M. J. F.; VIEGAS, H. I. y DIAMANTINO, T. C.. Mobile phones subjected to humidity and temperature cycles. Corros. Prot. Mater. [online]. 2007, vol.26, n.4, pp.108-112. ISSN 0870-1164.
Four models of mobile phones have been subjected to humidity and temperature cycling. Each cycle has been conceived in order to compel humidity condensation 6 times in every 24 hours. Vestiges of humidity were observed in two models after 312 hours of testing. The localization and the affected area by the presence of humidity both suggest a different pattern from the observed in service centres, attributed by the authors to different causes for water penetration.
