Natural resources modeling present a challenge to computer science. Forest ecosystems management is complex and it suggests the need to organize biological economic and technical data adequately so that the resulting information system may be used to promote ecosystem interdisciplinary research. This paper presents a data model for both forest and wildlife data and the results of its implementation within an information system. The model logical structure is described. Data validation and system implementation are presented in the framework of the development of a natural resources information center.
