The present study aims to understand the feelings and aggressive behaviour in subjects with spinal cord injury. For this effect, a exploratory study is out carried, having as reference the psychoanalytic theoretical framework. Initially a general review is conducted on the concept of aggression, highlighting its definition, its origins and functions, how to deal with aggression and its manifestation in situations of spinal cord injury. From followed it is proceeded to the presentation and analysis of two clinical cases of the Medical Rehabilitation Centre of Alcoitão. Of the analyzed material, it was arrived to conclusive aspects that allow to consider that the expression of the aggressiveness is often linked to situations of loss and frustration, being able not to have only one negative connotation, but also a constructive connotation that is essential for the mental health. Salient in these cases is the intervention of the psychologist through the therapeutic relation and the pertinence of the comprehension of these situations on the part of all of the professionals of rehabilitation.
