Professional Development (PD) has been highlighted as a critical element of professional training and practice within Psychology. Based on theory about PD and professional identity development and with an exploratory nature, we proceeded to the construction, implementation and evaluation of an intervention. Its main purpose is within a secure environment to exploration, to promote the PD of psychology students, in two components (intrapersonal and interpersonal/social). We formed two groups (one with 10 and another with five participants) that we evaluated formally by the pre-pos test design with a measure built for this purpose - Questionnaire Development Psychology Students. The results support the effectiveness of the intervention and indicate changes in: the level of self-knowledge, the representation of PD, the knowledge of the role of the psychologist, resources for the transition between roles and contexts, the consistency and richness of the narrative and basic relational skills. Despite the reformulations demanded by participants at the informal assessment, the program promotes the PD and the professional identity development of psychology students that presented high levels of satisfaction.
