To celebrate the 50 years of teaching Psychology in Portugal, and at ISPA, we present a reflexion about a half a century of studies carried out in the field of cognitive psychology, namely, in the domain of deductive reasoning. We will discuss the main methods and theoretical frameworks of this domain. We also present our recent contributions to the study of reasoning.
