Resumen

MACHADO, Daniele Franco Martins; BORTOLIN, Gabriel Streck; PARANHOS, Juçara Terezinha  y  SILVA, Antonio Carlos Ferreira da. Temperature, light and desinfection on seeds germination of Gochnatia polymorpha (Less.) Cabrera. Rev. de Ciências Agrárias [online]. 2016, vol.39, n.1, pp.144-152. ISSN 0871-018X.  https://doi.org/10.19084/RCA15046.

This study evaluated the influence of temperature and light on seed germination of Gochnatia polymorpha, and identified the fungi associated with diaspores. Diaspores previously disinfected in 70% ethanol and 2% NaClO were subjected to temperatures of 15°, 20°, 25° and 30° C in two regimes of light, 16 hour photoperiod and continuous darkness in Petri dishes containing water-agar medium, 0,7% agar, pH adjusted to 5,8±0.2. For the assessment of the health status of the seeds were used blotter and plating on PDA (potato dextrose agar) culture medium in diaspores with and without papus, in the absence and presence of asepsis with 1% NaClO. Seeds germinate in presence or absence of light, and temperatures of 15° and 20° C are the most appropriate, promoting the highest percentage (9,8 and 11,5%, respectively) and germination speed of seeds (0,19 and 0,35 at 16 hours photoperiod and 0,25 in continuous darkness in both temperatures). The incidence of fungal genera identified was lower in the absence of papus in the method with filter paper.

Palabras clave : Asteraceae; native species; physiological quality; plant health; sexual propagation.
