Organic fertilization improves the physical and chemical conditions of the soil, making more efficient nutrient uptake, helping to increase maize yield. To evaluate growth and yield for green corn cultivars submitted to Ribumin® doses by means of multivariate statistical analysis methods, an assay was performed in the experimental field of the State University of Southwest Bahia. The experimental design was a randomized blocks with three replications in a factorial 4 x 2, being the factors constituted by the control treatment (no application of Ribumin®) and three doses of Ribumin® (400; 800 and 1200 kg ha-1), and two corn cultivars (variety Bandeirantes and hybrid AG1051). The mass accumulation and the production of components for the green corn were evaluated. A principal component analysis was applied and grouped by Ward method. The hybrid AG 1051 proves to be more responsive to soil conditioning in comparison to the variety Bandeirantes, becoming more productive in relation to the mass accumulation in the doses of 800 and 1200 kg ha-1 Ribumin®, however, less productive when grown without fertilization. The variety Bandeirantes has a high degree of correlation with fresh mass, while the hybrid AG1051 is more correlated with the dry mass.
