Adverse drug reactions (ADR) represent a frequent problem in medical routine. Drug hypersensitivity relies on different pathomecanisms: immune-mediated (drug allergy) and nonimmune-mediated. In both types of reaction in vitro tests are of great interest, due to possible reduction of drug provocation tests that are timing consuming and potentially hazardous.
