Abstract

Authorization for the introduction into the Portuguese market of three biological agents for chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps was recently approved, with indication for patients with severe and uncontrolled disease despite treatment with intranasal corticosteroids. The purpose of this publication is to propose a protocol for the assessment of patients undergoing treatment with biologicals, which is useful and feasible in clinical practice, and which allows for future multicenter observational studies to be carried out.
