Abstract

This article deals with the vocational integration dialectics of senior executives in companies with differing innovation capacities. The aim was to identify the extent to which the vocational integration of senior executives is influenced by the various business contexts in which it occurs. The author also tries to determine whether the factors that generate these unequal possibilities do indeed include differing degrees of innovation capacity of this type. Amongst the various aspects that determine the way in which senior executives manage, he particularly comes across formats that reveal the existence of specific strategies. These are at the source of two very contrasting vocational integration models: that of "qualifying vocational integration", and that of "non-qualifying vocational integration".
