KOCH, Tomás; RODRIGUEZ-MANCILLA, Marcelo    RAMIREZ, Karin. Territorial articulation as catalyst of political subjectivities: a case study on social organizations from Valparaíso, Chile. []. , 103, pp.31-48.   31--2024. ISSN 0873-6529.  https://doi.org/10.7458/spp202310327954.

Chilean October 2019’ social uprising opened room for hypothesizing about the rising of a new political subject. In this scenario, this research aims at understanding the relationship between the reconfiguration of political subjectivities and territorial articulation dynamics. In so doing, it analyses the discourse of 56 social leaders from Valparaíso, Chile. The analysis shows that organizations’ territorial articulation dynamics are linked to their political subjectivities reconfiguration, and they activate material, symbolic and affective mediations. The article concludes by reflecting on how the building of a new political subject forms part of a struggle for hegemony oriented to the need to surpass neoliberal political subjectivity.
