In this introduction we will establish the principal theoretical concepts, methodology and objectives of the project “Angola in Movement” inside the theoretical ongoing debate regarding the informal trade in the globalised society. The analysis is done on the mobility patterns of people and goods in Angola across trans-border and trans-national trade routes in the Angolan regions involved like case-studies (Namibe, Cunene, route Luanda-Benguela-Huambo and Lisbon as host diaspora country).
