Abstract

MOREIRA, Sandrina Berthault. The econometrics in international cooperation. Economia Global e Gestão [online]. 2008, vol.13, n.1, pp.43-48. ISSN 0873-7444.

Regression analyses are the main instrumental of Econometrics to measure or estimate relations between variables that constitute the essence of economic theory. This basic technique for economists is however complex and of blurred forms, according to several specialists in Development Co-operation that have a different background. In light of this, the present article aims to describe in accessible terms to a lay person the econometric methodology used in macroeconomic evaluation studies of the impact of international aid on the economic growth of developing countries.

Keywords : Foreign Aid; Economic Growth.
