This article refers to one of the suggestions for future research that had been presented in my doctorate thesis and aims to investigate the existing relation between the niponic marketing management system and competition in enterprises, with activity in Portugal. In particular, it was researched the competitiveness of those enterprises, when they use specific practices of Japanese marketing management. Through statistical testing, it was verified that the competitiveness of niponic capital companies is induced by costs, human resources qualification and technological process.
