Abstract

This qualitative and interpretive study focuses on guidelines and the supervision of clinical nursing practice as a means of analyzing the phenomenon of organizational articulation between the School of Nursing and the Hospital. Thus, the objective of the article is to understand supervision interventions during placements, in particular in relation to supervisors and placement students, and the implicit and explicit logic between the two organizations on the basis of the theoretical analytical of interorganizational articulation model constructed. The second approach consisted of the construction of an archetypal articulation of relationships between the School of Nursing and the Hospital in the context of supervision during clinical placements, It was from this constructed typology that it was possible to carry out a reading of the discourses and practices of supervision during clinical placements. On the basis of this theoretical-methodological case study it was possible to identify different configurations of articulation, with occurred with varying intensity and frequency, and which reflect the present and future challenges related to supervision in nursing in the hospital context.
