Objective:

To identify the experiences and feelings of women during pregnancy.

Methodology:

This qualitative descriptive study was conducted with 13 pregnant women. Data were gathered from semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the Collective Subject Discourse method.

Results:

The analysis of the results identified three central ideas based on the participants’ responses regarding their experiences and feelings during pregnancy - physical changes women perceive during pregnancy; negative feelings women experience during pregnancy; and positive feelings women experience during pregnancy.

Conclusion:

During pregnancy, women go through many different changes and associate pregnancy with positive and negative feelings.
