Abstract

This article aims to provide an understanding of collaborative inhibition effect. This effect is reflected in the fact that the memory performance of collaborative group is less than the performance of the nominal group. To this end, throughout this review we will focus on the main studies and results in the context of collaborative memory; identify the factors and variables that influence this effect; and finally we will discuss the main explanatory hypotheses of collaborative inhibition effect.
