Studying where it is good to live? Subjective well-being and quality of life in higher education: the case of Brazilian students in the Algarve: This work analyzed the levels of subjective well-being (BES) and quality of life (QOL) among Brazilian students at the University of Algarve (UAlg), based on the observation of a significant increase in Portuguese universities. An online survey was conducted. The survey included the Subjective Wellbeing Scale and the WHOQOL-Bref; 102 students participated. The results showed that Brazilian students who consider UAlg a good place to study and a good place to live have higher levels of QOL and BES. Those who have not had emotional crises and those who are well integrated have a higher QOL and SWB. Students with a higher level of physical and social relations are more likely to consider UAlg a good university to study. Brazilian students have a good level of SWB and QOL.
