In this short paper I propose a reflection around different perspectives on the idea of the archive and the interpretative possibilities it might open in terms of analyzing different types of artistic and representation practices, thus being placed in the context of contemporary critical discourses, that are both gendered and decentralized. Departing from a ‘perceptive’ perspective (Gilles Deleuze), I intend to draw on the idea of a ‘perceptive archive’, a concept that can be used in the analysis of contemporary artistic practices and in the revision that such practices have been producing in the representations and the ethical and political axis of feminist and post/de-colonial discourses.
