The general objective of this study was to know the opinions of high university teachers regarding gender imbalances in public universities in Évora (Portugal) and Seville (Spain). At the University of Évora, 30 male teachers and 36 teachers participated and at the University of Seville, 20 male teachers and 23 female teachers. It is a descriptive quantitative study. The instrument that is applied is a questionnaire in Likert scale. The general results show that the vast majority of teachers perceive that the appropriate gender climate in both institutions. The teachers of Évora, perceive a greater situation of inequality than the teachers of Seville. The results per item reflect differences between universities.
