The development of some psychological characteristics, such as the perception of self-concept and self-efficacy may be determinant for the success of the individual in various contexts of his life. Possibly involvement in some bodily practices may be related to these psychological perceptions in adolescent students. Therefore, this study aimed to verify the relationship between sports practice, physical activity practice and other corporal practices, with self-concept and the self-efficacy among high school students. The sample consisted of 330 high school students, involved or not in corporal practices, who responded to the Multidimensional Self-Concept Scale AF5, the Perceived General Self-Efficacy Scale and Academic Self-Efficacy Scale. The relationship between the participation in projects of corporal activities and the values of self-concept and self-efficacy was verified from the analysis of multiple linear regression. It was observed a relationship between the participation of sports projects, other corporal practices and the level of physical activity with scores of self-efficacy and self-concept, the practices explained between 0.28 and 0.38 (p<0.05) of these factors, in the model adjusted by sex, age and socioeconomic level. It was concluded that there was an association between participation in projects of bodily practices and some domains of self-concept and self-efficacy.
