Autism Spectrum Disorder is expressed in childhood, its characteristic being a delay in the development of the individual, anomalous social interactions, and an intellectual deficiency may still be present. This disorder may include Savant Syndrome, where the main purpose of this article is to reflect and address the same theme, a rare situation in which a person with intellectual deficit has a great degree of genius and wisdom, having many skills through his extraordinary memory. Thus the main characteristic of the Savant Syndrome is the development of an extraordinary capacity, being this capacity related to the memorization, calculation, musical/artistic ability and finally linguistic.
