The subject quality of life as an area of knowledge is inserted within an interdisciplinary discussion field, it is related to the degree of satisfaction found in family, social, loving, and environmental life. In this sense, the present study characterized as qualitative, descriptive of review, aimed to analyze studies from research that used the KIDSCREEN-52 as a data collection instrument that seeks to assess the subjective health and well-being of children and teenagers. The search was carried out in online scientific journals available in the SCOPUS, LILACS, and CAPES databases. Data analysis and content analysis were carried out, to then create the categorizations, where the articles themselves generate the discussion categories. With that, it was observed that there was an increasing number of HRQoL surveys that used KIDSCREEN-52 in the last 2 years, as well as KIDSCREEN-52 proved to be adapted to several countries, as we found studies carried out in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Portugal, and Sweden. Finally, it can be inferred that studies related to physical and psychosocial issues have gained space in the scope of quality of life and physical fitness and bullying explain that there is an impact on health-related quality of life in children and teenagers.
