MARIANO, Ederson; DIAMANTE, Sandra; MACUCH, Regiane  e  GROSSI-MILANI, Rute. The operative group technique applied for health promotion. Psic., Saúde & Doenças [online]. 2021, vol.22, n.1, pp.314-325.  Epub 30-Abr-2021. ISSN 1645-0086.  https://doi.org/10.15309/21psd220126.

The operative group is a technique that assists in the health awareness and learning process. In this study analyzes the scientific productions that used groups in health promotion using the theoretical reference of the operative groups. The descriptors were used operative groups, health promotion, operative groups and health promotion with filtering of the last five years, by consulting the databases EBSCO, LILACS, PEPSIC, SciELO, WEB OF SCIENCE and PSYCINFO. 10 studies were selected from analyzes by title and summary, and later, according to the concepts of operative groups. The studies were divided into two categories: operative groups on users of health services, social assistance and education; and operative groups to professionals. The groups were mostly focused on health education, enabling an efficient approach of need, exchange of knowledge and changes in the way of thinking and acting in health. In general, the studies focused on the task and the affective bond to achieve the objectives, which combine the organizing principles of the operative group. To this end, the need for planning and in-depth knowledge of technical management is emphasized so that the initial objectives of group intervention are achieved. The scarcity of published scientific works on operative group practice applied to health promotion demonstrates the need for training professionals and greater investments in teaching such a methodology.
