Abstract
VIEIRA, Adriane; MONTEIRO, Marlene and SPAGNOL, Carla. Multiprofessional residence in health: impact on quality of life. Psic., Saúde & Doenças [online]. 2023, vol.24, n.1, pp.211-220. Epub June 30, 2023. ISSN 1645-0086. https://doi.org/10.15309/23psd240118.
This study aimed to to evaluate the quality of life of multiprofessional residents of two Brazilian public hospitals, one state and one federal, located in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The research design was descriptive and cross-sectional, with the participation of 68 residents from multiprofessional residency programs from two Brazilian hospitals, located in the state of Minas Gerais. The instrument used for data collection was the WHOQOL-Bref Quality of Life scale. The results showed that the residents' perception of quality of life and well-being is negative. The Physical Domain obtained lower scores, while the others pointed to positivity, especially the Social Relationships Domain. Residents reveal dissatisfaction with the ability to perform their tasks well and with the quality of sleep, and the feeling that they dedicate themselves a lot to study and work but enjoy life very little. For these reasons, we suggest the institutionalization of programs of quality of life that encourage work breaks and self-care.
