The negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on the mental health of population are still being described. The “Post-COVID-19 Syndrome” (or “post-COVID-19 acute or late”) is defined as the set of signs and symptoms that can affect mid- and long-term COVID-19 survivors. This study aimed the screening of psychiatric symptoms anxiety and depression, in 75 patients that were hospitalized for the treatment of COVID-19 at the wards and unit for intensive care of the Hospital of Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianóplois (SC), 90 days after hospital discharge and to evaluate associated factors. The conclusion of this study was to estimate the frequency of anxiety and depression symptoms at 26.7% and 16.0%, 90 days after hospital discharge of patients hospitalized for COVID-19.
