Abstract

The transfer of knowledge within the MNCs constitutes a competitive advantage due to the global competitiveness. It is a complex process subject to the contingencies of the subsidiaries localization. In this article, we study three cases in Mozambique. The results show a pattern followed by the Portuguese companies. According to the interviewees the establishment of a relationship based on trust is fundamental, in order the subsidiaries be able to incorporate the transferred knowledge on their activities.
