Competition is increasing with the globalization of markets and it is imperative that companies seek to get into new markets, in order to survive the economic conditions and adverse situations. In the current economic context internationalization emerges as a key fator for the increase of the competitiveness of companies. This paper is organized into four parts, which are dedicated to literature review on internationalization of cork enterprises, the methodology used to carry out the surveys, to their analysis using descriptive statistics and fatorial and finally discussing results and corresponding conclusions. In this research we can conclude that although some companies are heavily established in international markets, the majority are almost exclusively dedicated to strong orientated quality production.
