CINTRA, Renato; AMANCIO-VIEIRA, Saulo; SUZUKI, Tatiana  e  COSTA, Benny. Stakeholder Theory: Analysis in Brazilian journals from the Bibliometrics. Rev. Portuguesa e Brasileira de Gestão [online]. 2014, vol.13, n.4, pp.44-55. ISSN 1645-4464.

The idea that organizations have stakeholders has become common sense in the academic literature. In order to identify the use of stakeholder theory in the Brazilian scenario, this study profiled the authors who publish on this topic as well as the most relevant and quoted works in this field, from the resources of bibliometrics. This paper is both exploratory and quantitative, and was developed through the use of bibliometric techniques in national journals (Qualis A1 to B2). The study shows the profile results of the authors of articles and the partnership co-authorship. Also compiled the most quoted and relevant to the Brazilian academic field. The results indicate that 73.1% of the authors of Brazilian articles made only one contribution, which demonstrates the fragmentation of the usage of the stakeholder theory, and the immaturity of the field. A summary of relevant and quoted in the field of stakeholder theory works makes up the theoretical implication of the article.
