Abstract

Contemporary studies attempt to identify the behavior and training of entrepreneurial profile as a promoter of various economic, social and cultural processes. The self-trust that must have an entrepreneur is without doubt one of the distinguishing features within this profile. In this sense, the work provides the items that make up the construct of self-trust and their influence on the remaining variables of the entrepreneur profile (innovation, risks management, decision making and entrepreneurship). The methodology is developed from a structured questionnaire that includes questions on an ordinal scale, exposing the study of Ubá furniture sector located in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil.
