American foreign policy has to adapt to an increasingly belligerent Russia. During the campaign, it was clear that Barack Obama and John McCain had very different views of Putins grand strategy. Though victorious, Obamas policies towards Russia are still too optimistic as to what should be expected from the Kremlin at this juncture.
