Abstract

The article describes China´s grand strategy two symbiotic and conceptual pillars (Peaceful Rising/Development and Harmonious World) and Xi Jinping’s “China’s/Chinese Dream” recent conceptual upgrade. It is argued that this concept is a continuity based evolution, and it might indicate - albeit in a subtle way - a slight change in the country’s behavioral pattern, from a logic of “reduction of the differences” to one of «management and control of the differences» concerning its interests and those of the other international actors.
