The present paper states the idea of anarchy as Kenneth Waltz’s greatest contribution to the field of international relations. First, it presents the originality of that idea. Second, it outlines its basic terms. Finally, it points out its impact by advancing a constructive and necessary convergence to foster more consistent scholar endeavors about the reality of International Relations.
