Abstract

LUDWIG, Fernando José. Hegemony as part of the United Nations peace architecture. Relações Internacionais [online]. 2013, n.39, pp.69-77. ISSN 1645-9199.

This article aims, firstly, to discuss the role played by the United Nations concerning the construction of international peace, bearing in mind the concept of hegemony. Secondly, it is indented to explore in which ways the concept of peace is instrumentalized by international institutions, that is, the United Nations. In sum, the main goal is to provide the reader a critical reading about the construction of peace in the international led by the United Nations peace operations.
