The Euro crisis paved the way for the so-called Europe’s economic governance reform. That reform was intended to face the reasons that caused the Euro crisis, according to EU dominant countries and followed by European institutions, thus it concentrated on the increase of Member States’ fiscal discipline. This article analysis the main issues of European rules adopted within the scope of economic governance reform, with a view to frame its context, to refer the main aspects involved in the different legal acts, as well as the effects produced on the EU political system.
