RATO, Vasco. A clean break Biden's China policy. Relações Internacionais [online]. 2021, n.71, pp.31-50.  Epub Sep 30, 2021. ISSN 1645-9199.  https://doi.org/10.23906/ri2021.71a03.

Donald Trump’s Presidency produces a U-turn in US Chinese policy. Initially focused on trade issues, particularly the very high external trade deficit imbalances, the Republican Administration evolves to a more confrontational position, moving through major security initiatives, including the recovery of the Quad. This article focuses on the first year of Joe Biden’s China policy that demonstrates broad continuity with the main lines of Trump’s policy toward Beijing.

Keywords : United States; China; Donald Trump; Joe Biden.
