Abstract

TOME, Luís. The grand strategy of Xi Jinping’s China: goals, broad national power and policies. Relações Internacionais [online]. 2021, n.71, pp.105-134.  Epub Sep 30, 2021. ISSN 1645-9199.  https://doi.org/10.23906/ri2021.71a07.

What are China’s goals and ambitions? What means does it use to promote its interests? And what policies and strategies does Beijing employ in implementing its ends? In this article we seek to answer these questions by analyzing the grand strategy of Xi Jinping’s China. Regarding the analysis it seems that the grand strategy of Xi’s China has gone too far and too fast and may be time and momentum are still not on China’s side.

Keywords : China; Xi Jinping; grand strategy; world order.
