It was performed an assessment of the strength of the pelvic floor muscles with the use of a PERINA 996-2® device. It was found that 62% of women reported a regular to good sexual performance; and that the higher the strength of the perineal muscles the better the sexual satisfactionThere is a direct correlation between muscle strength of the pelvic floor muscles and the degree of sexual satisfaction of women.
