Complex fractures of the distal humerus are injuries with difficult approach, despite surgical indication for most cases. Over a 10 years period were identified 19 patients treated in the same institution, due to complex distal humerus fracture, using an olecranon osteotomy surgical approach. The evaluation of the patient group demonstrated satisfactory results with this treatment option, despite the important joint involvement and observed complications.
