Abstract

DRAY, Charlène. Ergonomics for an interspecies creative process: thinking about scenography as an interface to animal work.Translated byAgustina Blanco. Laboreal [online]. 2022, vol.18, n.1, e19022.  Epub Sep 30, 2022. ISSN 1646-5237.  https://doi.org/10.4000/laboreal.19022.

By using the term "work ergonomics" to address the term "scenography", this article develops the idea that the design of digital tools adapted to being used by horses on stage allows them to actively participate in the theatrical representation until they produce new forms. We will discuss about some scenography devices and the way they induce behavioral modifications or modify the work of horse on stage in an emancipating way.

Keywords : theater; equestrian art; scenography; technology; Animals Performances Studies.
